Who Are These Guys?

Heather Pelletier, the most recent addition to The Fifth, was born Heather Garland, daughter of the legendary Les Garland of the 1980s Warner-Amex Satellite Entertainment group.  Suffering from clinical childhood depression at the age of ten, from the neglect of her power-hungry media mogul father, Heather was the youngest subject in an early Fluoxetine drug study—after smashing results this would later be sold under the brand name Prozac.  However after her father founded MTV, and subsequently VH1 in 1985, Heather found herself immediately captivated by the latter music network and the unrivaled variety of adult contemporary hit videos which it offered its viewers.  Voice lessons immediately followed for the fledgling star, and by the late 1990s she had fallen in love with the easy-listening rock demi-gods of Matchbox Twenty, Train, and the Goo Goo Dolls.  After forming her own adult super-hit cover band called TrainBox Dolls in 2000, and failing to sell any tickets whatsoever for a 24 stop tour of the east coast, Heather ultimately came to grips with reality and the widely accepted fact that adult contemporary rock just really really sucks.  Recognizing both her extraordinary talent and desire for musical inner-growth, the Fifth immediately signed her up as their new front-woman rock Diva.  Oh and yeah, she’s really hot too.
